On an early Saturday morning, WBI students and staff gathered under the overcast skies at the Historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum located in Exposition Park to be part of a wonderful cause. It was the United Way HomeWalk 2009 fundraising event to assist the homeless.

Western Beauty Institute is proud to begin its exciting day and night courses in the field of Nail Technology. The Manicuring Program which covers all phases of Manicure and Pedicure services will be taught at both the Panorama City campus out in the San Fernando Valley and the Lancaster campus located in the Antelope Valley. The WBI staff are excited about the program which began on September 21, 2009.

Western Beauty Institute takes pride in allowing our students the opportunity to shine. Back on May 31st, 2009, WBI was one of many beauty and cosmetology schools to participate at the 2009 SuperSunday styling event. However, WBI sparkled in the spotlight, receiving honorable mention and 2nd place in the SuperStyle Competition.
